Production Associate I 

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Production Associate I, you will be trained in packaging either cups or pouches of finished products on our manufacturing line. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the product. Inspecting the finished product for defects, and whether it’s size, functions, and features meet the requirements of the company is essential to role. This position requires a high attention to detail and being able to work efficiently throughout the day, but always keeps safety top of mind.

Essential Functions:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Packs finished product at the end of the production line.
  • Assists Line Operators as needed.
  • Responsible for reporting problems to department lead.
  • Always follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
  • Comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Always maintain personal protective equipment in good repair.
  • Ensure product quality are met throughout the process.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment as needed.
  • Adequate housekeeping always during the shift.
  • Review and assure appropriate adherence to quality, safety policies and procedures.
  • Supports SQF initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Manager or Production Lead.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Entry Level, does not require previous experience as a Production Associate.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to effectively adapt to change.
  • Must be able to work overtime if necessary.

Physical Requirements / Work Conditions:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50lbs. individually, 60+ lbs. with a partner.
  • Frequent physical activity requires climbing, bending, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting and stooping.
